The Youth Recreation Department of Geneva (SLJ) organises holiday camps, day camps and workshops during the Geneva school holidays for children aged between 4 and 17 years.

A child attending a camp will:

spend time in a different environment away from home;
     meet new friends;
     develop his autonomy and sense of responsibility by taking part in community life;
     learn, practice or improve different skills: cultural, sports, nature discovery,...

For parents, these camps provide support for their children during the holidays in a stimulating and safe environment.

The camps offered by SLJ cover all sorts of activities: cultural, sporting, recreational, creative,... Children can either go to holiday camps for a few days or to day camps, wokshops, depending on what they prefer. Camps are held throughout the canton of Geneva.

Registration starts months before the actual camp (beginning of March for the summer) so contact them well in advance to make sure you register your kid on time.
