Whether it is at La Praille, Thônex or Meyrin, the bowling birthday formula is popular! My son prefers La Praille because it's a bigger place, the alleys are more modern and “cool” but the equipment and computerized lanes are the same in all 3 centers.
Several lanes are reserved according to the number of children. You may bring the cake or order it there (except for Sundays). A birthday party can be scheduled any day of the week at Thônex and Meyrin, while La Praille accepts reservations on Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (see respective websites for details).
If you would like special decoration on the tables or balloons, ask if you can bring the necessary items with you as that service is not always available. Depending on the formula selected, you can reserve one or two games in a row and bring the cake or order it on location.
At the end of each game, the names of the winners, much to their pleasure and pride, are projected in large letters on-screen!
