Bowling at La Praille

My son's favorite bowling center! It's big, high-tech and "super"! Located on the second floor of the La Praille Shopping Center, this is a great place to spend a wonderful time on a rainy day. There's a lot to do and to snack on, too.

For a family game, ask the staff to raise the bumpers which prevent the balls from slipping into the gutter and guide them in more or less the right direction, making it a bit easier for beginners. Kids can bowl from about age 5 although it really depends on hand size and strength, so be ready for some frustrated whimpers the first few times... There are smaller and lighter balls, easier for kids to handle, as well as small bowling shoes for small feet. They'll be overjoyed as soon as they start getting spares and strikes, it's great to see them so pleased! And, they get to see their name on the big screen, which makes them very proud!

Do know that great birthday parties are regularly organized for kids starting age 6, at Geneva's three bowling centers (see HappyBirthday). The number of alleys booked for you depends on the number of children (minimum of 10 kids at La Praille).
