ARA - Personalized tutoring services

Note moyenne:
0

ARA's primary objective is to provide individualized support courses for students and apprentices who are experiencing temporary academic difficulties. These courses are called "répétitoires" and are given by motivated tutors who are still in school and who remember the difficulties they themselves faced not so long ago. (...)

The répétitoires offer many advantages: these are private, individual courses that take place in a familiar environment, often the student's home on a flexible schedule. A special tutor-trainee relationship builds itself on mutual trust and understanding.

It's fairly common to see a child encounter difficulties at school or with a particular subjet. When you start to see him or her lose self-confidence and motivation, it is important to react for his or her self-esteem and future studies. If you don't have the time, skills or patience (oh boy is that necessary...) required to wear the teacher's hat and fulfill all your other roles too, then, how calling up ARA and giving your child what he or she needs?

It is an association of tutors who closely work with the Geneva's Department of Education (DIP) and moms who have tried their services gave positive feedback. The students in charge of tutoring are apparently very nice, capable and motivated while the rates are set and fair. A big advantage of its being an association is that another tutor can be called in if personality-wise, it doesn't work out well with your child.
