Swimming School: Courses for children, from age 4. Registration for the school year. Course lasts 30 minutes from the levels "Crayfish" to "Polar Bear" (names of level that indicate swimming aptitude), and 60 minutes from the level "Whale" on up.
All courses begin with a year of learning key points, for 4 and 5 year olds. Children learn to control water, to breathe, float, slide, jump and immerse themselves fully underwater. When these key skills are acquired, usually from age 5, we take a closer look at breathing techniques, leg and arm propulsion and dives. In parallel, we introduce three strokes: the breaststroke, front crawl and back crawl.
When children have passed the polar-bear-level evaluation, lessons last 1 hour to introduce endurance swimming and the "dolphin" stroke.

An excellent team of instructors, motivated and lovely with the kids. Some are more demanding or cooler than others, as anywhere, but instruction is homogeneous and optimized for each level and on personal capacity. The younger children’s course (from age 4) lasts 30 minutes, which is just fine in terms on time (kids don’t get cold) and they don’t get bored either thanks to the playful approach.
Everything is wonderfully orchestrated and organized by the school's president, Catherine Eissler. The only downside is that classes fill up very quickly each year and you won’t always have the chance to choose the day of week or the time that suits you best. Registration for newcomers takes place the first week after school begins and it is quite common to see parents lined up by the pool's entrance for over two hours just to make sure they get a place for their child (children)…
