Active Brain Kids Academy shares with HappyKid.ch the fundamental values that favour the well-being of children, inclusion and respect for each individual and aim at harmonious development of talents and increase of self-confidence for each child.
The methods used by the Active Brain Kids Academy team are based on NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and the most recent neuroscience research. Trilingual (French, English and Russian), the teacher Olesya teaches courses where learning is based on play and creativity and uses three specific sensory modes: visual, auditory and kinaesthetic. Each child has his or her own way of learning, retaining and remembering.
Whether it is to promote concentration, improve memory, call upon creativity or optimise brainpower for better results at school, each child spends two hours away from screens in a beautiful, bright, warm and ideally equipped space located in the centre of Geneva in a very quiet alley (Eaux-Vives/Villereuse). The personalised and caring supervision combines positive discipline and neuroscience to enable our children to develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives. The groups promote exchanges and team spirit and the children also develop their social and interpersonal skills. As future actors of tomorrow's society, they increase their confidence in themselves and in their resources and abilities to contribute to making the world a better place.
The courses apply the internationally recognised "BrainOBrain" method for children from the age of 5 and are divided into small groups on 4 levels by age group from 5 to 7.5 years and from 8 to 12 years. The youngest children from the age of 3.5 can learn games that stimulate memorization through creativity with the method developed by the University of Oxford "Numicon".
