The attraction that zoos have on the public stems from many reasons ranging from leisure and entertainment to the love of animals and contact with wildlife.
However the primary reason for zoos and animal parks to exist is the important role they play in the conservation of animal species and nature conservation, at a time when hundreds of animal species are endangered or on the way to extinction.

A great place to go to for amateurs of animals and warm places. The Tropiquarium brings together all sorts of reptiles, such as iguanas, crocodiles, lizards, chameleons ... for whom the surrounding temperature must be kept quite high. These animals have the foresight to lie still for a very long time, excellent for close observation. Some are just as cute as but certainly not as restless as mammals (like ours ), and this is the perfect warm-up after a winter’s visit as the Servion Zoo next door (five minutes away).
Do not miss the aviary: be teleported to the jungle, an instant magical trip in a world of lush vegetation, humidity with hundreds of tropical birds and butterflies flying around you.
The Tropiquarium has other special birds: the penguins can be observed under water while they swim at top speed or relish on fish at mealtime (11 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm) and ostriches, those “giant birds” who always impress by their size.
The Tropiquarium also participates in a program to protect endangered species.
