Flamenco for children
Texte tiré de la documentation officielle:
(...) Michelle Gagnaux, "The Burbuja", developed her flamenco teaching methodology for children within the framework of the ethnomusicology workshops in Geneva. Driven by a classical dance perspective, the Burbuja focuses her teaching method on sets of technical exercises to develop grace. Courses invite to the discovery of flamenco through rhythm and movement. These consist of warm-ups, technical leg and arms movements as well as rhythmic exercises to the sound of palmás or other percussion instruments, followed by dance sequences adapted to the level of the children.
At the "Jana Dance Center", courses take place Wednesdays from 11 am to 12 pm (Initiation) and at the Ecole des Genêts, course 1 takes place from 3.30 pm to 4.20 pm (from age 5), course 2 from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm and course 3 from 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm.
